The edison module won't connect to wifi because wpa_supplicant keeps crashing.
I have tried using systemctl to start and stop wpa_supplicant. ifconfig to start and stop wlan0, and rfkill to block and unblock the radio and nothing seems to work. When I first got the module I was able to have it connect properly once.
When I am in interactive mode of wpa_cli I see the following:
WPS-AP-AVAILABLE
<3>CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-STARTED
<3>CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS
<3>WPS-AP-AVAILABLE
<3>CTRL-EVENT-TERMINATING
Connection to wpa_supplicant lost - trying to reconnect
Connection to wpa_supplicant re-established
<3>CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS
<3>WPS-AP-AVAILABLE
<3>CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-STARTED
<3>CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS
<3>WPS-AP-AVAILABLE
<3>CTRL-EVENT-TERMINATING
Connection to wpa_supplicant lost - trying to reconnect
Connection to wpa_supplicant re-established
<3>CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS
<3>WPS-AP-AVAILABLE
<3>CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-STARTED
<3>CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS
<3>WPS-AP-AVAILABLE
<3>CTRL-EVENT-TERMINATING
Connection to wpa_supplicant lost - trying to reconnect
This seems to be an endless loop.
Any ideas?
