I'm having a similar problem using my Logitech wireless touch keyboard K400r which ran without a glitch at my WinXP Intel desktop PC; was able to operate smoothly from my sofa that's about 9 feet away from PC. Plugged the received into the front USB port of NUC, the wireless keyboard would not respond from anything further than 2 feet away from receiver.
Other than EMC issue, could it be due to insufficient power from the USB port thus causing the range to drop so drastically?
The NUS is designed to be kept out of sight, I can't imagine if we can't use wireless I/O with it.
What I/O devices do you use? Thanks
